NetEase Reports $128 million in Revenue

Even with all the drama with World of Warcraft between the company and the government agencies, NetEase has reported only a small lost in profit in the third quarter.

Chinese Agencies Fight Over World of Warcraft

Two Chinese Government agencies are fighting over the rights to police the World of Warcraft situation in China.

The Chinese General Administration of Press and Publication has just announced they are forcing NetEase (China's World of Warcraft Publisher) to stop all new registrations and continue to completely shut down all servers. According to the Chinese General Administration of Press and Publication this is because NetEase violated a key agreement while the game was still under review. This officially may be the end of WoW in China.

Amazon.com has begun accepting pre-orders for the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm. You can find the United States version here and the United Kingdom version here. The release date has not been officially announced yet so there may be a long wait ahead. Not much else to say except enjoy!
