That's right the successor of the popular Ragnarok Online game is finally being localized and brought over to western territories. The game launched in Asian territories in 2007 and since has met with grim criticism by MMO players from all angles for not meeting expectations. But Gravity has not given up on the game and has put in place several large changes to the game... such large changes I did not even know it was event possible.

Ragnarok Online II

Since its launch the game has changed plenty to improve player's experiences. Gravity even went as far as changing the game's engine, switching from the Unreal 2.5 engine it is native to the Gamebryo engine which other MMOs such as Warhammer Online and Atlantica Online runs on. Really since when have you heard of an MMO changing game engines unless it's for another sequel or a completely new game? And furthermore most of the game systems in the game has been re-thought and re-released since its launch.

Gravity expects the game to be released in 2010 with all these updates in place, so Ragnarok fans still have a bit of wait till they may try out the new game.
