The browser based MMO Strategy RPG, Three Kingdoms Online goes live today! The servers are set to open up at 6 PM Pacific time, which would be 9 PM for the eastern coast. The game is based off of the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history and has previously won ChinaJoy's "Best Browser Game" in 2008 and again in 2009.

Three Kingdoms online has since landed on the shores of Vietnam and Japan and this will be its first English version. Worldwide there are already 30 million registered users for the game and over 200 servers running the game.

The game will be played like other browser based city management sims with each faction with unique benefits. There will be buildings players can build and manage as well as train and maintain a army to take camps and territory. But unlike other browser based city games players are able to hire hero characters level them up in a traditional RPG style and there is even a continuing storyline players can follow. There will also be quests added daily for players to gain experience and loot from like a traditional stand-alone MMORPG.

Currently Three Kingdoms is offering beginner packs for all new players and for those that purchase cash there will be a cash back award (discount).
