Runes of Magic has been live for a while and with the launch of Chapter II content it is still going strong. Just how strong? Well the ROM team would like to share with us some statistics to show how dedicated players are.

Because of the huge impact of Runes of Magic internationally, the game’s publisher, Frogster is revealing figures on the player population since the launch of ‘Chapter II – The Elven Prophecy’ in August. Adventurers have already solved well over 15 million quests and have overcome more than 250,000 boss opponents in the second chapter. The crafting theme has also seen lots of action: Over 16 million items were created by players through cooking, blacksmithing, tailoring, and other in-game crafting methods.

With the mounting user base the Runes of Magic team has announced they will be expanding with new servers targeting German and Korean territories. The Korean version is still in its beta phases but "has exceeded all of the Berlin publisher's expectations" according to Frogster.

Glad that you took the time to read our news posts. In defense of what your comment, I want my news articles to summarize the press release given to us in the shortest way possible for you. What is lame numbers for you is interesting news for others. While the analysis is that the game community continues to grow. There really isn't much to say about it right? I can pad it up with lots of unrelated information but the press release given to us specifically wants us to share these numbers as well as tell gamers they are expanding to new territories. But hey this is my first personal website and there is no doubt there is room for improvement. I will take your comment to heart and try my best to dig deeper in my future posts and hopefully meet your expectations. =)

wow, this article sucks, all it is is a simple quote form frogster. There is no Analysis, or work done by the publisher of this article. I have learned nothing from reading this post other than some lame numbers i will never use. the author of this post needs to get sacked.
