Chinese MMORPG Developer ChangYou Licenses CryEngine 3
Chinese MMORPG developer ChangYou has recently licensed the newly released CryEngine 3, making them the first Chinese Licensee of the engine. The CryEngine 3 promises an all-in-one package that will deliver top notched graphics as well all the necessary tools to create an immersive MMO.

This has been a very fast success story for Crytek the developers for the CryEngine series, as CryEngine 3 has only been released 6 days before the announcement of a license agreement.

 

CryEngine 3 has been created to support the PC and the 2 current HD consoles, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. So will the new MMO in question be released to consoles as well?

 

One thing is very likely though. All of ChangYou's games is based off of Chinese lore, so we are likely to see another MMORPG based off of Chinese myths and novels.
